Affordable Self-Storage Units in Paisley
The aim of Storage Vault is to provide high quality, affordable self-storage units to both domestic and commercial customers as well as flexible CoVault workspace . Self-storage is a relatively new product in the UK – having been very popular in the USA since the 1990’s. From 2000 to 2005, over 3000 new facilities were built every year in America.
The re-designed scheme will involve an ambitious multi-million pound makeover to make the company’s first site a real flagship development. Formally Mackay’s head office and manufacturing facility, the building has lay derelict for eight years. Scottish Capital, the private investment vehicle of John McGlynn, are backing the Storage Vault team. The development will bring employment and a complete renovation of the building which will benefit the surrounding residential area.
Managing Director Anthony McAteer, said “Paisley is the perfect spot for self-storage, with the site being located in a prime position in the centre of town with excellent transport links due to the A726 and M8 being right on its doorstep and Glasgow International Airport mere minutes away.”
McAteer continued: “We are confident in attracting significant interest and are looking forward to bringing self-storage to Paisley’s market late 2015.”
