Storage Vault Acquires 11th Site in Glasgow City Centre
Our new Work Space in Glasgow City Centre
Storage Vault has completed the acquisition of a prime traditional work space building in Glasgow City Centre.
Wilson Business Centre occupies a prominent position at the junction of Cook Street and West Street within the Tradeston area of Glasgow. The property is located under a mile from the City Centre and is within half a mile of access to the M8, M77 and M74 motorways. Both West Street and Bridge Street Underground Stations are also within walking distance from the property.
Immediately income producing, the acquisition will be a sister site to Storage Vault Glasgow City Centre on Scotland Street. The property is a listed building – built in 1912 with accommodation over three floors. The development will see each floor developed into storage zones, studio zones and 1-5-person CoVault work spaces with modern facilities and premium furnishings.
Anthony McAteer, managing director, said: “Storage Vault’s acquisition of Wilson Business Centre marks the start of an exciting growth phase for us. It will allow us to expand our services in Glasgow to better meet the demand for well-located, flexible work space.”
John McGlynn, Scottish Capital founder and investor in Storage Vault, said: “We have continued to demonstrate our commitment in the Glasgow market with the purchase of this asset located on the fringe of Glasgow City Centre. We are continuously on the lookout for investment opportunities of both office and industrial properties in this vibrant city.”
